Why There's an Angel on Top of the Christmas Tree
Contributed By: Mike Selig
Over 800 years ago Santa was having a terrible time getting all the gifts
for the children.
It had been a bad year for Santa as his elves had all reached puberty at
the same time.
Well, anyway Santa had to work extra hard to prepare all the childrens
gifts and he was quite frazzeled when it came time to load the sleigh
and begin the long nite of deliveries.
Santa was just about to leave for a long nites work when one of his angel
helpers came running up to Santa and told him that he had forgotten the
Christmas tree for a family in Budapest. Now Santa was quite angry that
this tree had been forgotten and said to the angel that it would have to
stay behind at the North Pole. The angel then asked Santa what he should
do with the Christmas Tree. And that is why that to this day the Angel
sits on the top of all Christmas trees!
