Mechanic's Curses

• May your wrenches always fall to the geometric center of the underside of the car.
• May your window appliques always contain a single maddening bubble.
• May your cause-unknown symptoms always disappear a block from the mechanic, and reappear in that same block on the way home.
• May you forever drop the drain plug in the drain pan.
• May bird droppings on your car go unnoticed long enough to eat through the clearcoat.
• May you always find a clapped-out '76 Thunderbird parked next to you when you come out of the grocery store.
• May your driver's window motor seize in the down position in a thunderstorm.
