What I Do For A Living
I hold a Associate of Applied Science in Electronics
Technology and have worked at the Baldwin Organ company and Motorola Semiconductors
as a electronic technician in the CMOS testing area. I am presently a Staff
Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force as a "Personnel Systems Manager" in
the military personnel office at Mountain Home AFB, ID. I administer
and maintain 6 UNIX based AT&T 3B2 computers, administer both software
and hardware for a 60 user Novell and soon to be Windows NT workgroup.
I also evaluate data and responsible for correction of rejected data, maintain
software and hardware for 60 plus P.C.s, create and maintain my squadron's
web pages and general computer technical support for my 300 user squadron..
How I Got Stuck Doing This
I asked Doc what was involved as a regional coordinator
and he sent a congratulatory e-mail. My fate was sealed.
What I Do For the IFSJA
I'm the Pacific Northwest regional coordinator.
Miscellaneous Fluff 'n Stuff
36 years old and married to the former Deborah Hatfield
with one expensive 14 year old daughter. Two Fox terriers and a couple
of dozen tropical fish. Land owner in beautiful Rawlins Wyoming. One of
my goals in life is never take anything to the repair shop, I'd rather
destroy it beyond repair than pay someone to fix it. My wife calls me by
my middle name, Guy.
