Man, I really need to get over to one of these! Work has been actively bending me over a barrel for the last 6-9 months, so I've been super busy. Even been missing my range time for the last month. Good news is I'm thinking of dropping to half days (with full pay) for most of the summer, maybe we can get a dune run set up. Anyway - have fun!

I had a great time meeting everyone and putting faces with names.
I hope everyone got home OK! I was only half an hour up the road when I drove out of the snow and it was clean and dry the rest of the way home.

--Battle_Wagon_NJ - did you really drive all the way from New Jersey?--

Alot of us were light-weights and left our big Jeeps at home, but there were still several FSJ's in attendance, and it was cool seeing them bashing through the snow.

Good eats at Frickers, and I'm still reeling from seeing Zack's place. Wow...

Hopefully someone will post up some photos.

Look forward to seeing you all again soon!

here are a few snapshots I took at Zacks Saturday. a couple each inside and outside Frickers where we had an excellent lunch and on of the parking lot at Z&M on a lovely Maumee Spring day---and yes thats Herc setting in the corner of the lot.

I have a couple more I took inside that I'll post in a little bit.

really sorry the rest of the guys and gals didn't make it but just a few miles farther east and south it was seriously bad. In fact they closed several counties to ANY non-emergency traffic; as in, get caught out on the road and unless you were on the way to a hospital you could get ticketed and possibly your car impounded. So I don't blame the rest of the ohio crowd for not making it.

beaucoups of thanks to Zack & co. for hosting it. REALLY great to meet those who did make it and put faces and names together.
Lets do it again in 3 or 4 more months. I gotta get my shopping list in order and my FSJ$$$ stacked up.

here are a few pics I took inside Z&M. I really should have gotten a shot of the "back yard" and more inside pictures but I had to get on the road and get home.

I was totally mind-boggled by all his NOS stuff. I picked up a little front corner piece I needed for my 64J200---NOS and for less than I'd have paid someone to pull a salvage piece and ship it to me.

one pic is of some NOS valvecovers. at first in the warehouse lighting they looked like a darker muddier f**d blue. but when the flash lit them up they were a bit more teal colored. another shows a honk'n great rack of cj grllles. I also spotted some,(at least to my uneducated eye) metal fender flares but I couldn;t get a good angle to photo them. he has a freek'n INCREDIBLE selection of stuff there, CJ ,Jeepster, etc etc plus all the FSJ.

Big Negative on that! I flew in. Slow month at work, means time for some R&R. So I decided to go see where my Wag was born, and get ideas for my next project.
