Posting Pictures- Whats the Secret ?

The problem of posting pictures seems to come up often .

Some people do a great job while some suggest pop-up laden photo-bucket with the mini thumbnails .

Can someone divulge the secret to loading those great full size photos ?

Thanks .

I have a Photobucket account and dont have any problems. If you do use PB then copy and paste the "Direct Link" using the the yellow icon that has what looks like two mountains and an orange sun. In PB you can size/resize your pics using the "edit" feature. The 320x240 will give you a relatively small photo yet larger than a thumbnail for sure, i.e. you can most likely will fit 3 of them side by side in your post, or you can use the 640x480 to give a good size pic. Anything larger and you will most likely receive a notice from the mods to lower your pic size.

X2 What he said

There is more than one way to do this!!
Upload your images to Photobucket, 640x480 is the best size.
I open two windows: one with Photobucket, the other with the thread.
Copy the direct link in Photobucket
start a reply
click on the yellow icon that looks like a mountain.
Remove the http://
paste the direct link
that’s it.
