That's just idiotic. People with more money than brains are going to drive up prices on everything in this hobby sooner or later.

Not only that -- but you'll spend an absolute mint trying to get an OEM rear wiper unit working -- and you'll still have the worst-designed car accessory ever to see the light of day.

Here's a $300 rear window washer to go with it.
1990 Grand Wagoneer with HD towing package -- everything works! (for now...)

                    Google Search

I find part numbers are the best way to find parts. Google them and view all the search results to the end... Including the out-of-county stuff. Then ask those folks if they know anyone. Often finding parts this way is less expensive than eBay. As an example below... Searched on these:

                    J5464444
                    J546 4444
                    5464444
                    546 4444
                    J54644 44
                    54644 44
                    etc.,

                    And found these:

                    1990 Grand Wagoneer:
Delilah - def: "White Lady (cocktail) with the additional ingredients of egg-whites, sugar, and cream"

                    1987 XJ Wagoneer Limited:

I found one NOS chief flare in a garage in Long Island NY 2 years ago
I found a NOS muscle grille in the box at a jeep show 3 years ago
I found a NOS Pig Nose grille in a garage in NJ 4 years ago
I found a NOS townside rear bumper at an old dealership converted into a service station in CT 2 years ago
I found a NOS sportside rear bumper laying in the crawl space of a house in VT 3 years ago
I found a NOS brushguard and rollbar set in a mouse infested 40 foot storage trailer in Mass last year.

Every single of these finds and more came with one thing in common - the guy either worked at a dealership, owned a dealership, had a friend that did, bought out dealer stocks, went to an estate sale where one of these types of people use to live, etc etc. it makes the "thrill of the hunt" as much fun as owning and enjoying these old jeeps

                          Yes! Someone who gets it!

NOS grill for the XJ from Spain (look internationally!)... NOS leather seats from a guy who knew a Dodge-parts guy who had them.

Thrill of the hunt... Couldn't thought of a better way to say it!

I've found new wide track fenders, Mopar editions.
                            2 nos wide track fenders
                            1 nos front door.
                            1 nos quadra-trac assembly
1 nos differential set up for a quadra-trac
1 set of nos wing windows
4 sets of nos mud flaps
3nos tail light assemblies for J trucks
                            many nos weather stripping
1 set of nos cherokee tail light assemblies
1 set of older wagoneer tail light asemblies
1 set of nos chrome centers for wide tracks
1 set of black Laredo center caps for a wide track
lots of switches and electrical stuff
most of this sits in the garage or dining room awaiting a new project or buyer.

Most of this was searching by part numbers and multiple buys from same guy who had lots more parts he had no idea what they went to or as the case didn't care for the partsas they weren't Chevy stuff from his buy outs. Tons of stuff I passed over and wished I had bought now.
