77 Wagon Build

I am the new proud owner of a 1977 Wagoneer! A co-worker of mine was tired of it taking up space on their lawn, so I jumped at the opportunity to own it!

It was originally a 401 Wagon but somewhere in its history it was swapped with a 360. (Ultimate plan is to put a 401 back in it) It has Dana 44s front and rear with aftermarket locking hups up front.

The Wagon has not run in about 2 years and but I was able to manually turn the engine over so it has not seized. Ultimate goal is to restore it with some minor upgrades and go to Moab in the future!

I am a newly registered but not new to the site and have followed several builds here. This looks like a good community and I am happy to be here.

Stoked you are here! There are quite a few dudes up there in Oregon that post here regularly. Looking forward to seeing your rig come together.

Thanks all for the welcome!

I will get going on my build thread soon, having trouble getting the pictures to load right.
Some of you have already been very helpful in my search for a 401!

This is a good group of people on this forum.
