    Bed box

Does anyone here use a bed box in their pickups? If so what brand/size are you using. Anyone have any pics? Maybe I havent looked very hard, but it seems every box I've run across either is too long and hanging over the sides of the bed or too short and just barely resting on the bed rail. Any info would be appreciated.

I've been looking myself. The full size truck boxes are too wide, and the compact/midsize boxes are too narrow. The best fit are the boxes specifically for the Dodge Dakota, but those are few and far between. I've been tryin to pick a box out at Northern Tool, since they seem to have quite a few in stock. I may just go with a tough tote bolted down in the bed.

The dodge dakota is a close match. Finding an actual Jeep one might only be possible here in the forsale section.
      Good luck with your search.

Hmm I'll just have to keep an eye out for the right size box.

i have 1 that i stumbled across and bought for my j10. don't use it like i thought i would so i took it out. it's a dual lid diamond plate box with keys. it is the exact width of the truck box from edge to edge as if it's made for that exact model pickup. could'nt ask for a better fit! i'll entertain any offers

UWS sells some nice boxes. regular, deep, and chest for the Dakota the last time I looked.

Got mine at Tractor Supply. Its the only "mid size" box they carry.

Where are we going and why am I in this basket?

That fits better than a used delta alum I picked up a coupple years ago, when it comes to one for my 87 I'm putting a factory roll bar in it, and I'm looking for a fifth-wheel type box to set on the bed floor.
