Indiana FSJ meet and greet/The Badlands Oct. 8th and 9th

After a dead locked poll I have decided to set the dates for this event as October 8th and 9th at the Badlands. I hope that quite a few of you will find a way to make it there, it should be a good time. I would have liked to have had this at Haspin Acres but since The Badlands is mostly gravel and sand the riding there is less dependent on the weather. There is also more open style trails there so the risk of body damage for those who want take their rigs out is a little less. I think there is a better variety of trails there for bigger vehicles, at least thats what I have heard, we have acctually never been there so it will be new to us. Please keep me informed on those of you who are planning to be there...Jud

This is the 2nd get together I'm going to miss. I wasn't able to go to MI in Aug because of my sister's 50th b-day and now I'm going to miss the Badlands meet and greet because I'm flying to KC for the NASCAR race on the 9th. D@mn it anyway!

Anyone want to take a guess whose engine started knocking today? So I guess I'm out AGAIN! I may have to cut up one of my samurais as a sacrifice to the jeep gods....

I think we will be camping IF we get to go. The family pet had to have some surgery and it was not cheap at all, like $500!! We are going to try to make it but it is up in the air for us at this moment. I will keep eveybody informed on this. The Badlands is located in Attica IN, it is over around Crawfordsville (East IN.) I hope that more people can make it (including us!) J to the 10 and threepiece, I hope to get to see you guys and some others but we will have to see. Anyone interested in going, please post on here this week. Thank you all and we hope to see all of ya'll..Jud

I am out for this trip.
My J20 is running great, but I am out on the road, traveling for business.
I have to schedule time just to wipe my nose these days.

If were not reading and posting to this forum while at work, I would go crazy!

Doesn't look like I'll make it up that way. Suppose to go pick up another J20 Saturday, then going to the AMA Hillclimb in Orgoenia,Ohio on Sunday.

Well, despite a good effort it looks like everyone has other things planned for this weekend as well as myself. The dog having surgury really put a dent in my checkbook and on top of that I have a funeral to go to. Maybe we will try this again in the near future (spring or something) as I would still really like to have a meet and greet around here. Sorry this was not able to happen at this time but thats the way thing go. thanks everyone for their input and time and I will keep you all updated on this event....Jud
