I hope you can make it, Charlie. I'm out for this year. We will be moving to Washington and there's just no way. I'll have just driven the Jeep from Colorado to Washington and there's no way I can afford the gas to drive back!

Did you warn them about the wildlife in those back sites?
      90 Grand Wagoneer, 401/727/229, TFI upgrade, MC4350 4V, Edelbrock Performer cam, All-Aluminum Radiator, Razor Conversion, 4" Rusty's all-spring, 31x10.50 BFG TA/KO's...much planned, little time/money, thus she's a PipeDream!
Status: Up and running, but needs attention....

Yeah, and I think 2 years in a row kinda gives him squatters rights.

I am also heading up on the 15th. The exact route is not yet determined. I am pulling my truck on a trailer and will have the wife with me. If I can hook up with folks on the road that's cool but I won't try to subject others to my schedule. We might be going slower than most with the trailer and all.

Hey guys - yeah, it looks like my GF and I are a 'go' for this year. We have spot 49 as confirmed via Dave at the KOA. Sorry resbum couldn't make it though

Looks like we will leave Longmont CO early morning on Wednesday the 18th and driving straight through to Ouray. I dunno what route we will take and haven't even looked at a map. If we run solo, we will prolly take Devils punchbowl / Taylor pass on our way.

If anyone else is heading out that way on Wednesday morning, lemme know. I dunno when Scott will be leaving...

Gonna try and take the old Honcho down there. It just got back from towing my sandrail/quad to the Walden dunes last week and Moab last month. Also been driving it to work these past few days. It's running pretty good. TBI is going on soon, but if for some reason that doesn't work out, the Holley TA will work perfect. Only thing I gotta do it is change all the fluids. That NV4500 is rattling really, really bad but still shifts OK. Maybe I'll throw some actual GM nv4500 fluid it rather than Amsoil (rated specifically for nv4500). I've read that maybe the Amsoil isn't actually rated for the nv4500 even though they say it is...

                  Yeah cool.

Know that I"m NOT selling my Holley TA, but I will definitely help others tune theirs.

Lemme know what you've done to it so far. What jets, squiters, power valve, springs, etc.

Mark, we'll miss you, but you know you'll be there in at least one way--on a shirt, famous guy!

Have you thought about alternatives? Such as storing your Wag somewhere in Colorado and then either flying back to CO or driving an econobox rental one-way, then take the Wag to Ouray, then drive it back to your new home in Washington? It would make for an epic trip. Where in WA are you moving to? PM me if you prefer. I am actually jealous since I've always wanted to see the PNW but haven't had the chance. It may not be a good idea for me since I THINK I'd be even worse about not wanting to go home like I am each year in Ouray!
