Overhead console with a moon roof??? I got to see this. Other than that mines got the same shizzle... Except mines running and driving...daily.

Isn't that the truth!!! AND COST $$$$$$$$!!!! My rebuild is about 3 times the man hours I expected (still not done) and I have lost count of the cost. Then I look on Craigslist/ebay/bringatrailer and see what other rigs are selling for... I shoulda just saved my money and bought a better rig. sigh....

Then again, nothing feels quite the same as firing up an engine YOU built. Puttin' heads on=getting close!

          freeze plugs

OK no nibbles . So I used the 1 3/16 socket to put over brass freeze plugs for painting block . Perfect fit Today I will put a transmission front pump seal in was not leaking but real easy to do now than later...

            That's awesome! (freeze plugs)

I did that seal a few weeks ago, too. Good times!

Man, this reminds me that I need new freeze plugs, but I don't think I can do them with the engine in. Space looks too tight. That's where im loosing the most of my coolant

                Seals in

Took 10 minutes to remove and install transmission front pump seal . All looked REAL GOOD FOR 102000 MILES . I used a speedy sleeve on balancer because of groove . MSD Distributor gear only comes with 1 hole drilled . WHY. Edelbrock water pump fit with no trimming .The only thing I do not like are those cheap fuel pumps. I glass bedded timing cover and left natural no paint . SOON
