    Covered Bridge Cruise-Feeler

Looks like we're doing this 9/28-9/29 and leaving for home on 9/30. We will be staying at the Lieber State Park in Cloverdale, Indiana. We will be in Poplar Grove 090-101 circle. http://indianastateparks.reserveamer...ex=CampingSpot Park address is 1317 West Lieber Road Cloverdale, IN 46120. Retro93 has also brought up

Pretty much just what the title says.

Trying to see if there is an interest in getting together some time this fall and have a Jeep Cruise and possibly campout. The area is West/Central IN. Covered Bride Mecca.
I'm trying to get the members from Great Lakes Region interest now.

Thought it might be a good location to possibly get Chicago area down to Paducah,KY ,Cincinnati and up towards Toledo area a shot at a FSJ get together. Of course anyone from this site would be welcome, just figured maybe the Midwest region needs a get together on a Ouray or ECI type meets.

Another possible spot would be at Land Between the Lakes. If so then we can notify the Southern group.

I'm up for any area or suggestions. The one thing I would like to see is it be a non sponsored event and everyone takes care of their own needs.

I prefer a late fall run myself.. AFTER the Covered Bridge Festival weeks. I prefer the alone time with some of the bridges just checking the craftsmanship in these old treasures.
Mom has been during the festival times and complained on the enormous crowds. If anyone else has been there and can shed some light on this please do.

I haven't checked around for camping yet but would like to find something close to the main tour routes on that website.

I agree that that would be a bad time to visit, albeit, the foliage would be nice.
