Yeah, I was hoping to make it. I have a lot to get done around here before "real winter" shows up. And it will be close without a weekend trip in the middle of it.

If you do it will be a tie with me. I drove my old '89 to one meet at Z&M. Haven't driven an FSJ to any other M&G's and that is around 12 or so total.

I have 40 gallons of gas for the fire. You think that is enough, or should I get more?

Why does it not surprise me you would have gasoline for a fire?!?!?!? That gas jug has to be on the top of your "things to pack for camping list"

Here we see Retro's gas can at the Feb campout in 2013

That 40 gallons is going to be nice and skanky since it's been in that tank since 2005.

                  Retro93,

What the address to your place?
                  ...or some directions?

                  What could one bring?
                  Tools?
                  Food?

OK, looks like I will be solo on this trip. Wife has to work, and my other copilot is doing a H.D. ride/camping trip that weekend.

My plan as of now is to be out of here early Friday morning. Hopefully there a little after noon. Bounce on Hoots back bumper and scream "earthquake" if he's not up yet.
Pitch the tent, and stay till Sunday afternoon sometime.

On my list of things to bring...........
                      Glass w/track
Plasma cutter, and various extras for it
                      Dads load leveler
Automotive misc stuff kit (clips, trim screws, ect.)
Various hand tools (probably turn into a lot of various tools knowing me )

                      Retro,
You have a decent sized (30gal. ^) air compressor there to run the plasma?
I can bring mine if need be, but I will need a hand getting it back out of the truck. One of those 30gal "wheelbarrow" types, not too heavy, but awkward to pick up. I cheat here, stairs out front and a ramp/bridge I build for loading stuff with my dolly.

Also, what are we doing as far as food ? Campfire specials, somebody grilling, local bar+grill ?
I will gladly contribute, or bring something along, but dont let me near a grill unless you like everything EXTRA crispy.

I suggested Retro put all this info on his first post in this thread. That way he can keep it updated and we will know who is bringing what and where he lives.

I don't know the address off hand but have been there a few times. It is just north of Morehead on route 32. Just outside of the city part a mile or so north of the Walmart and Kroger stores. On the left sits way off the road is his A frame up on the hillside.

I'll also have a ton of fuel points if you guys want to top off your tanks for a $1.00 off a gallon at Krogers.

You jump on my bumper and make Rudy be in a bad mood then you can deal with him all day.

I'll be bringing my 3 ton floor jack(noticed seal is leaking, but it works fine)
I'll also be bringing a dozen or more 4x6 wood blocks to sit things up on and to burn as needed.
I'll also be bringing my Harbor Fart Transmission Jack.
My truck always has a huge amount of hand tools and road break down stuff in the back. I'm sure there will be more.
Will also have various ratcheting straps from car hauler size to motorcycle size as well as a 3/8 length of grade 70 chain and a set of 7/32 grade 100 lifting chains. I also have a bunch of different lifting straps.
and for the important part THE FOOD
I am bringing a crock pot full of Hoots Chicken and Dumplings and a thing of cornbread.
Midwest Meet in Feb of 2013. Nice freezing cold night for camping.

There are tons of places to eat in Morehead. It IS a college town by the way.
Anyone coming through the Cincinnati area take the AA highway in Northern , KY and go down to Maysville,KY and then down to Morehead,KY. The roads are great and it shaves about 90 miles each way verses taking the interstate, off the trip. Just watch your speed in KY it is campaign time for them. The State Police are out in major force for speeding and seat belts this time of year.

Checked the glass/lifter bar out today, still there, buried in a corner.

Good news is the lifter bar looks pretty good, pealing paint and a light bit of surface rust. Nothing a good cleaning with the wire wheel in the drill wont take care of.
I will try to get that done this coming week after work one day or another, then throw a coat of primer and paint on it.

Not so good news is its NOT equipped with the defrost like I thought. Dont know if that matters or not.
Also, from what I can see it looks like it has a big scratch about halfway across it . I dont know what I would have got it with to do that. Being tempered I would have though it would shatter if I hit it.
It does look pretty dirty as well so I am hoping its just a old spiderweb or smudge that will wipe off.

Will know for sure in the next couple days. Got to shuffle a bunch of stuff to move the stuff thats blocking it.

I really need an actual garage (super size please) instead of a shed that thinks its a garage..

Things have got crazy here last couple days, but I still plan to be there.
