I have done it on a parts rig. Mine was an unpadded metal dash, so I had some room. And my allen driver still broke the glass. NEVER, EVER, again.

motor is gone, not sure if the shroud is there or not. I also have a tornado out of the m715 that I can get you some parts off of later this fall when I get that rig back home from storage.

personally, I like my shackle mounting tabs to go...

personally, I like my shackle mounting tabs to go all the way through and be welded on the front AND rear of the bumper. I use 3x4 HREW rectangle, 1/4" wall usually for the bumper, and 5/8"x2.5" bar...

I'll let you know. I'd be REALLY happy if you'd take the whole shell! It will be chopped heavily though, i'm snagging it for the rear section, to get the old taillights and repair my rotten mounts....

personally, i'd hack into the window switch wiring (the part that goes to the dash) where it comes out of the tailgate, and put a switch in the back inside the rig, in the rear trim panel or...

that's horrible. My ZJ had almost 300k on it's 4.0L AND full-time 4x4, and it got a consistent 20-23 mpg highway, depending on wind.

I agree Poley, I can't count on one hand how many times that friggin latch has wounded my noggin while making a repair or just checking fluids. :( :banghead:
